Real Estate

Real Estate allows you to manage your properties, whether as an individual real estate agent, a real estate firm, or as a home builder looking to display previous work. Below is a listing of features

Properties

Filtering

When you know what you want, but have too much data to sift through - don't bother. The filtering abilities in Real Estate will allow you to find exactly what you want based off several different fields. If you don't see the field you'd like to filter by in the standard filter, clicking Advanced Filter will enable several other options for you. If you don't want the filter taking up any of your screen, you may hide it by clicking Hide Filter.

Sorting

New to Real Estate, clicking on any field in the management listing will allow you to sort by that field in ascending or descending order. You can easily tell which field and what direction your information is sorted in by looking for the arrow next to the corresponding field. It will even remember how you've sorted your data in between sessions, allowing you to maintain your workflow between sessions.

Suspension

Having a large number of agents can lead to difficulty in ensuring everyone is following the rules while creating their listings. If you receive a report filed by a visitor, or notice a client has some invalid information in their listing, you can easily freeze this property by clicking the Suspend icon (the lock). Once the agent has resolved the issue, simply click the Unsuspend icon, which appears in the same place, to once again list the property.

Property Types

Real Estate comes with the ability to allow you to pre-define property types for your agents to select from, and for you or your visitors to search or filter. This will prevent you from having a bunch of unknown property types, and also make sure that there are no "Huose" types in your "House" listings.

Expiration Dates

To allow you to prevent forgotten listings from last year to appear in your current listings, expiration dates allow you to determine a time frame to make sure your properties display for a limited amount of time. If you'd like to set a property which never expires, you can also do that by clicking Never under the Expires field.

Custom Fields

Custom Fields allow you to add fields that you define to your property forms and listings. You may choose whether they are text fields, drop down select boxes, radio buttons, or checkboxes. You may also place several fields together into a group to identify different collections in forms and listings (ie. Amenities, Appliances, Misc, etc).

Pictures

Each property is allowed up to 7 pictures with captions to provide the visitor with information on what each picture is (ie. "Living Room", "Dining Room", etc).

Agents

Filtering and Sorting

Agents may be filtered and sorted just like properties.

Custom Fields

Agents also have custom fields, but are limited to one group of fields.

Pictures

Each agent is permitted up to two pictures. The first picture will be the picture of themselves, and the second could be a business card or company logo.

Contact Information

If your agents wish to keep their contact information for clients different than their contact information for you, no problem! Each agent may supply their own contact information and may also add extra information or instructions for the visitor to follow.

Accounts

If you'd like your agents to be able to edit their own properties, then adding accounts to Real Estate would be ideal. This will grant them access to a restricted portion of your site using a personal username and password. This will allow them to manage only their properties from the front end and allow you to display information to only your agents and not the general public.
