PictureIt

Think your website is a bit too stagnant? Need an easy-to-use photo gallery for your site? Want to show off several different pictures without taking up too much room? If you said "Yes!" to any or all of the above, then let PictureIt give you a hand.

PictureIt offers a very straight-forward photo management solution that can be utilized in limitless ways. It can be used to create scrolling pictures, animated bodies of text and photos, photo galleries, and several other concepts. PictureIt was made to work hard, and if you don't see the solution you want, then give us a call and we'll try to work out a custom solution just for you.

How to Use PictureIt

  1. Firstly, we need to create a set so that we may add pictures to it. Lets start by clicking Add New Set.
    1. Give your new set a title
    2. Give it a description, which you can choose whether to display later
    3. Give the dimensions for the pictures in the set
      1. The dimensions order is width by height
      2. Choose whether the photos must match these dimensions, or be less than or equal to these dimensions
    4. Click Add This Set to create our new set
  2. Now that we have a set, we should give some items to manage. Lets click Manage Items in the row corresponding to our new set.
    1. We'll see a similar page to the one we were just on, listing all the items in our set if we have any. Let's click Add New Item next.
      1. We can add a picture if we want ( PictureIt will display only the text provide without the picture )
      2. Give a title for this item
      3. Optionally, give a link for this item to follow
      4. Optionally, provide a caption for this item
      5. Optionally, provide a description for this item
      6. Click Add This Item to create our new item
    2. We can now see our new item in the listing. If we have more than one item, we can reorder their positions in the list by dragging and dropping them. We can also edit or delete them as we deem necessary.
  3. Congratulations! PictureIt is now ready to display your set to your visitors! You can let us at newline Creations set up your widget for you, or add your own on a page later.
